I’m Lou Kohl. I build stuff, all kinds of stuff and what you see is what you get from me. But what you also get is your custom woodworking project delivered on time at a price that is fair and honest. I served in the United States Army on active duty for almost 11 years where I was stationed all around the world and completed two combat tours in Afghanistan as an AH-64D Apache helicopter pilot. I continue to serve in the U.S. Army Reserves while working as a technical project manager in the banking industry here in North Carolina, where I live with my wife, Colleen, and our two fur children. I love what I do and anyone who knows me knows my workshop is my happy place! The shop was named Little Mountain Wood Lab after our two chocolate labs that we love, Maggie and Mac. Let me also introduce you to my better half. Colleen and I got married in September 2021, though we’ve known each other for practically our whole lives. Colleen is an attorney by day and a woodworker by night.
